I'm wondering if this is normal?

I had unprotected sex at the beginning of June, during or a day after ovulation. I'm usually on a 28 to 29 day cycle so when I was scheduled to start on June 21, nothing happened. On occasion, my period has been a couple of days late but I never worried about it before. Anyway, a week passed and aside from the cramps I'm used to having at my time of the month, there were no signs of my period coming. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative although one line was faint. I wasn't sure if that was a false negative, so I took another test of a different brand and that also came out negative. This morning I woke up and had very intense menstrual-like cramps except that they were about ten times worse. The only time I had ever experienced pain like that was when I was in labour with my daughter. I ended up bleeding but it was brown and spotty, not at all like my periods normally are. Is there a possibility that the pregnancy tests were wrong? Or if I am not pregnant, what are some reasons as to why my period was so late? Please note that I am not under any stress whatsoever so I would not count that as a contributing factor. If anyone can shed some light, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It is a 2001 Chevy Blazer LS with the 4.3l v6. We were driving down the road and it quit on us. it is not the alternator because i had that tested. i was told to replace the distributor cap and rotor so i did that. i got it to start and it idles really rough. when you step on the gas the car dies. the fuel pump sounded really labored when it would prime the system. then the fuel pump stopped working and it would not start. 3 days later the fuel pump did kick on but sounded labored and again rough idle and would die when stepping on the gas. then the pump stopped working again. is this the sign of a bad fuel pump?

Second pregnancy baby dropped?

This is my second pregnancy and I am roughly 34-35 weeks. I noticed that I had dropped or "lightened" yesterday. I never dropped with my first until I was at the hospital in labor. I am sure baby dropped because I can see toes again, my boobs don't sit on my belly anymore, I can breath, sit, sleep and eat so much easier. It feels like I am 6 months pregnant again! My question is does this mean anything to how soon labor will come? I've only read that for subsequent pregnancies dropping doesn't normally happen except right before labor. im 35 weeks with my second and had 2 cups of it so far, the taste is vile and put me off drinking any more to be honest. sugar helps but its still not nice for me personally. my midwife said its safe to take from 34 weeks as it can take around a month to start working, it doesnt induce labour at all it just helps strengthen your womb to make contractions stronger/more efficient thought to shorten the second stage of labour. i dont know if it works as i never had any with my first, but anything is worth a try. you can buy them in tablet form too if you dislike the taste.

41 weeks and 2 days pregnant, why does my doctor want to see me again?

Ok so I have had no signs of labor except the loss of my mucus plug which the rest of it came out yesterday, i ended up going to the hospital to see my doctor for it because i was concerned about the color.. it was a kinda yellowish green but he said it was perfectly normal. He ended up keeping me on the machine that monitors the babys heart rate and the moms contractions? im not sure of the actual name of it.. anyways, the babys heart rate was perfectly fine but i was still not having any contractions, so he ended up sending me home, which i was fine with. Today I had my regular prenatal appointment with the same doctor, he checked to see if i was dilated but apparently nothing has changed (im not dilated), and i told him i still had no signs of contractions. he told me he wants to see me first thing tomorrow morning at the hospital so he can monitor my contractions!?? i was just on the machine yesterday, i told him i still didnt have any contractions today, why would it be any different tomorrow?? He didn't mention inducing me or anything but could that be the case?? if it is why wouldnt he tell me? im just kinda scared and it seems stupid to want to bring me there to only monitor the contractions im not even having... im not sure what to expect, any ideas?

Today i turned 37 weeks and about a week ago i was 3cm dilated and 50% effaced, haven't been checked since. I have been having some cramping on and off, braxton hicks has become more frequent and stronger, been having to poop a lot (sorry to much info), baby has dropped a bit, lost my mucus plug a few weeks ago gradually, and had a bloody show about a week ago. Also been having some pelvic pressure and sometimes it feels like my tailbone is bruised and hurts to walk at times. I have been feeling very exhausted like i haven't slept in days even though i have been getting a lot of sleep. I also been having sharp stabbing pains in my cervix area as well as pressure. How likely do you think i will go into labor sometime this week or weekend? this is my 2nd baby. Thanks for your input!

My wife is 31 weeks pregnant with our first child and the doctor told her she was carrying the baby low. She examined her and said she could feel the baby's head. I need to know if my husbands job is allowed to take away labor hours?

my husband works for a car care company. The manager recently told him that when he cant get a customer to agree to the work needed to fix there car, he will cut the labor time it calls for so that he can get the sale. Chances of going into labour early with second baby?

My first was born at 38 weeks spontaneous rupture of membranes and spontaneous labour. He is only 7 months old and im almost 21 weeks pregnant. They will be at most 11 and a half months apart. My just wondering if having them closer together would put extra pressure on my body and sense my first was 2 weeks early could this one come early also? However Einstein's greatest achievement was perhaps the theory of relativity. I know this was a very very important discovery but so were others not in physics( for ex genetics). And frankly i find that works in Physics are more credited than works in Biology or Chemistry ( DNA was a major break through and perhaps Crick was the only guy in that subject to be recognized by many). But coming back to the question I think Einstein's fame escalated mainly due to his participation in the nuclear fall out in Japan in World War 2. If you are in preterm labor the hospital can give you medication to try to stop it. If is something else, (like a bladder infection) they would more than likely treat that with antibiotics. Almost all causes of shaft speed mismatch are an internal mechanical problem, probably a burnt clutch, or an internal electrical problem with the solenoid valves. It is very unlikely there is some cheap external quick fix for what it sounds like yours is doing. Sorry but I'd be back at the clown you bought it from pronto. It sounds like you have an internal hydraulic or clutch problem that is aggravated by temperature as the fluid and components heat up. The chance of this happening without their prior knowledge is next to zero under the conditions you've stated. Sorry but pretty much any of the incorrect ratio codes are bad news.

If you have not already, I would encourage you to read some of Carl Sagan's books, or even watch his Cosmos tv series (It's all on Hulu). Watching that and reading some of his books, Pale Blue Dot especially, really got me intrigued about the universe and our place in it. I would watch Cosmos and then invest in a good telescope.
